Carpool
Carpooling is ideal for commuters with set or flexible work hours. Carpoolers usually divide costs and driving responsibilities. And here’s another great reason to share the ride — if you have two or more people traveling together at least three days a week, you get parking preference and other benefits.
Ridematching is a free online service designed to bring people together who are interested in sharing their ride. When you register, you will get a list of people who live and work in your area. Your name and contact information will also be made available to others looking for to share a ride. Street numbers are kept strictly confidential and you decide whether you want to be contacted by phone or email.
Vanpool
Vanpools are generally more organized than a carpool with all the same great benefits. Vanpools have at least five people traveling to work together at least three days per week.
