St. Paul gets innovative with new bike parking

Over the past few months, we’ve been working with businesses, developers and the community to bring some cool new bike parking options to St. Paul. These are just a few examples of bike parking we’ve been able to help fund through our programming.

In the next couple of weeks, the Frogtown Neighborhood of St. Paul is getting bike parking reflecting their neighborhood. These Frogtown bike racks will be hitting the streets starting at the the corner of Dale and Lafond. The racks were designed by the Frogtown Crew as part of our Neighborhoods programming happening in the area.

Bang Brewing had the first on-street bike parking in the city. Their new bike corral was installed this summer on Capp Rd., right outside their front door.

Spruce Tree Center at the corner of Snelling and University added a new amenity for their tenants – a brand new bike room.  The room features not only bike parking, but secured access and lockers for storage throughout the day. This is just one of the many updates the building has made to achieve LEED certification.
